Probably have to wash the Max too, after the long drive......
Funny you should mention. Last time I was down there I saw a lot of really nice car wash spots that were relatively cheap compared to back home.

Still waiting to hear about rooms/group rate in DFW. Info will be posted in the Maxus sticky in the General Forum. It seems that they will try to get a block of rooms at a Holiday Inn that's next to Courtesy Nissan in Richardson, TX.

When I stop in Springfield, I'll just find a place. I won't be making a reservation there.

OK, now that the schedule is published, who would be part of the track day on Friday?

is that a general question to everyone, or a specific one directed at me?

It was a question for the guys from the upper midwest. Prinz moved this thread from the regional forum to the Maxus forum. Sorry for any confusion.

No problem, Matt. I'm hoping a few of us midwest guys will be there for track day.

Hey, thanks again for all your work in putting this together. Can't wait!

no problem.. I'm just trying to bring this community back together... it's one thing to talk trash to each other online.. it's another to actually show up and see these people and get schooled.

This sounds like an awesome trip! I'll be there for the track day, although I doubt I'll be running. I still need to buy a few things for the car before the trip. Anyways, we should finalize a time to leave. I'd say we should get there Thursday morning/afternoon. That would give us enough time to get settled in, and take a look around before the events start.

I'm planning on leaving Wednesday morning. Meeting Chitwista in Chicago and then heading south. He's driving straight through. I'm stopping around Springfield MO. Wed. night and will roll into College Station Thursday early to mid afternoon. I'll probably run the track day on Friday.

OK guys, can we get a current head count of who's going, when you're leaving and from where you're leaving? List your name and info if you're in. Once we have that list we can figure out getting some caravan(s) together. I know that Chitwista and I are leaving the Chicago area on Wed. by 8am.

1. Bluesbrekr - leaving 6/8 from Chicago area by 8AM
2. Chitwista - leaving 6/8 from Chicago area by 8AM.
