Hmm...to drive the 8 hours or not....

 

Piece of cake. For the 2 years it was in Dallas, I drove 19 hours....one way.

 

I will go with you dawg....maybe get some of the others to go...


But since I live in a small maxima community there is no one to drive with...

well this sucks for me.. by that time ill be a whole week short of 18.. but eh mabey ill drive the WHOLE hour and a half to the Chi and watch you guys run each other off the road

 

Why are people afraid to drive by themselves?

 

i might still be able to go even if it for the weekend. Worst happens i'll leave work early on friday and blast over there and leave early on sunday.


i am still not counted out yet.

I'm in for sure. I'm trying to get everything in order before the event (paint, headlights, taillights, stillen kit). Even if I don't....I'll be there.

 

I'm not going if this guy is going to be there.

 

my status has unfortunately downgraded to "touch-and-go". basically i've got a massive (for me) bill to pay by july 1, and IF i can spare the money then I'll go. fixing and selling my Superwhite would really help with this but i dunno what i'm going to do just yet. I really wanted to do a heap more repairs before coming (primarily brakes and tie rods... other things too tho) but i don't yet know if i can. checking my bank account daily... i know it's $200 in gas round trip depending how much driving i do once there. also there's the question of days off work, which will undoubtedly be unpaid. plus i was going to buy something from another maxima person once there but now i dunno of i'll be able to..

 

Dammit im in jail till the 26th so me and my boosted 4th gens are out.

forgive me, my mind tends to spend a lot of time in fantasyland where that girl is concerned... she's WAY out of my league but if i never try i'll never know. if only i could convince her to ditch her camry for a maxima... then i'd know how she truly felt haha.

OK, Nissan bringing the 2009 Maxima makes this truly bona fide! Great work to the guys who arranged that! I will be there on Sunday, three of us from Madison will. Looking forward to meeting everyone and eating some BBQ.

If you had a category for handling/chassis mods I might have a chance but otherwise I probably won't enter the show.
