So hopefully everyone made it home safely. I just about didnt. On the way back my car started vibrating like crazy and I could tell it was from my front driver side wheel so I pulled over. The vibrating slowed down with vehicle speed so I figured it was something with my brakes. I looked everything over and it all looked fine. Didnt know what to do so I got back on the road, then a fwe miles later it got alot worse. I pulled over again and notice right away my tire is crooked. I looked at the lug nuts, 2 backed out, another lug nut/bolt completely snapped off, and the last two nuts were only held on by just a few threads. I was able to tighten the two up and i transferred a nut from each of the back two wheels to the wheel and all was fine then.
It pisses me off though cause Im assuming someone loosed all the nuts on that wheel. I always tighten my wheels to 85ft-lbs and its too much of a coincidence that only the 5 nuts on one wheel were lose. Im thinking someone probably did it at the hotel cause I doubt anyone did it at the meet. But oh well, atleast I fixed it before my wheel fell off. Hope no one else at the hotel had that happen.

Glad you made it safe. Don't know who would want to screw with the wheel like that, but what a sh*tty thing to do to some one.

 

that's some BS...it was probably one of those hotel party person that was getting shooed away by the cops from the other night.
