and i was like the 8th one there! i pulled up to the ticket gate behind a lowly-looking burgundy 4th gen, thinking "ah they're just here to watch"..... until i saw the Ontario plate then a fellow 3rd genner (AM_Blackmax) pulled up right behind me. great track day, had alot of fun.

I was in a few minutes early and started off with a stern yelling from the track people. I figured at that point .. Ugh, it's gonna be a long day !

Nice job to the organizers, especially Corey, Bobbie, and Aaron for getting it all organized, setup, and getting the word out. DCMAX > *

I was really happy to see all the people come out for Maxus this year!

Big thanks to Corey who stepped in about 1/3 of the way thru, took ownership of and really was responsible for getting our big sponsors and MIR especially. Thanks to NWP who took on the task of presenting this event and working with us every step of the way to see this come to past. And to the committee who's work was invaluable and who did more then what we asked of them, we really appreciate you all's hard work and dedication of your (unpaid) time and efforts

Sucks that I missed it, but glad everyone had a good time.

So who had the highest dyno #'s?

I assume Jim was the quickest car out there right? (except for the n/a run vs. aaron).

Thank you to all the people involved in planning, the sponsors, the .org, and, everyone that showed up! None of the planning would have mattered if no one came.

If I remember correctly Brad92Se had the highest dyno numbers on his 92 Turbo Max. I believe it was 389hp on about 14psi

Jim's fastest run was I think an 11.8x...not sure if he was spraying...or should I say how much.

It was a hot day to run, and humidity seemed to pick up bit overall some impressive, and consistent 13s from a good handful of guys

I had so much fun at the track, it was hot, but well worth the trip out there. Seeing all these Maxima's is making me want to sell my 240 for another one. I hope I can make it to the next one.

I was hoping to see official numbers for the various events either here, or on the Maxus website. Wish I could have made it. Glad Jime was there to represent us North of the border.

Maxus was cool. We all know NYC dominated the event though lol. It was great seeing all the Maximas and meeting the guys behind the user IDs. Caravan was cool along with the track day. Will be uploading pics soon in the other thread. I also got pulled over right outside the hotel Saturday night but got off with a warning for the stupidest thing. Can't wait til Maxus 2010! Hopefully I'll have better track numbers then.

11.2 @ 123 mph was my quickest run. I sprayed only 3 runs, one with a 50 shot to test the traction, then a 125 and later another 50 shot run. Traction was a problem, N/A asn't bad but not great with the spray. All the rest were N/A which ran between 12.6 and 13. When I pulled up for the second run the starter saw water dripping and gave me a warning but let me run. When I returned to the pits I discovered the rad fans had quit working and the pressure split the hose from the front rail to the log. I wrapped a rag around it to catch the fluid and hard wired one of the fans on low speed to the battery, nothing else would work. it was still running well over 200 but the rag kept the water from leaking on the track. Between runs I would wring the rag out and replace it, not a big leak but enough to soak it.

I drove home with it like that and just kept stopping and topping it up every 1/2 hr or so. Today I will see what went wrong.

Didn't want to risk more than the 125 shot being 12 hrs from home but a 11.2 is still faster than any other Maxima has gone so I figured it was enough to show any disbelievers that it would run 10's even in the non-nitrous assisted American air.

I am trying to think of how many people entered in the MIR gates that didn't have a Maxima. I remember seeing a few trucks, few SUVs, some Altimas, couple G35s, 350z, and some Fords and Hondas. I think it's safe to assume we had 150+ Maximas at MIR on Sat. And we had exactly 70 Maximas at the BBQ Meet on Sunday. Most people traveled back home Sunday morning. I called out a lot of raffle numbers of people that weren't present on Sunday.

If Bobbie or Corey knows of a more accurate number for Maximas present at MIR, please post.

We are still trying to determine that now, it's been pretty tough seeing how people were still coming in as late as 12pm, and started leaving as early as 1pm. We're going thru the photo's to get a best estimate for numbers. Should have something tomorrow, Monday latest.

The official pictures from Maxus should be up Tomorrow as well.
