title says it all!!!

hey just want to make sure I am reading this right I googled the track and hotel and they are like 1 hour apart, if so why not pick a hotel alittle closer.

I was just curious. I saw a 30% chance for rain on sat., just made me think. This afternoons supposed to storm pretty good on LI, I'm taking a halfday tom at work to finish up my car

This is because there is nothing to do near the track and we wanted to keep people near the city so that they could go back and forth to the city. This has been asked and talked about in the general maxus thread as well. The caravan to and fromt he track will be cool. This was similar to what we did when we went to the dallas maxus. Also it say Isolated T storms which means they probably wont come near us

Funny, but until I saw this thread I didn't make the connection that the hotels and the track were so far apart. And NOW the whole caravan thing makes sense to me!

I will get a good cleaning session on the car tonight (wash and then spray detail, leather, armor all the interior). I'll have a bottle of spray detail, windex and bug remover in the trunk so I'm all set.

Everyone remember to bring your sunblock as there's a lot of hours in the sun coming up.
