We had just got done detailing our cars, so we decided to go out and snap some shots of the results. We washed the cars with Dawn dishwashing soap, then dried them with Absorbers. After we dried them, we used Mother's clay bars to clay the cars. The next step was polish, and for this step, we used Meguilar's Step 2 polish. The cars were finished off with Meguilar's NXT Tech Wax. I think the end result speaks for itself.

Thanks, guys. I apply and remove the products by hand. My cousin with the 4x4 Maxima is looking for some lowering springs (H&R or Maxspeed) at the present time. If any of you have some for sale, let me know. He has only been driving for a week! Those are my old Falken wheels on his car. The Accord has my old ADR's from my other car. The car is coming along nicely IMO. He has a set of sideskirts from a '02 that he will be putting on shortly.

I got it for $650, including the kit lens. You can find that camera on the internet for around $800. The lens on the camera now is a much better lens than the kit lens. The money really is not in the cameras, but in the lenses. I bought the lens for $150, but it retails for around $250. The best Canon lenses range from $700 to around $5000. That will be my next upgrade.

hey wuussssup, i have never done night shots, and have never took time to learn the different settings. The current camera I use is the Canon EOS 20d paired up with the Canon 100-400mm telephoto lens. and the speedlight 550ex when needed, what are some basic settings you use at night?

Incredible results and pictures. I just recently began getting into taking photos as a hobby. I bought the Sony DCS - T1 because I found it for about $300 over the Memorial Day weekend. It isn't very practical for the kind of pictures I would like to be taking, but at the moment I needed something highly portable, had decent features, and was decent on the quality.

Sorry if I got a little OT.

I got in an accident in December, and I just got a new OEM bumper and painted it. There are no chips on the bumper so far. Knock on wood.

The Canon 20D is my dream camera. That camera surpasses my 300D in every way. I am looking to buy one after I get some headers. The settings at night are as follows:

I used full manual with manual focus because it was too dark to auto focus. The settings varied slightly due to different lighting conditions at the different locations during the shoot. I used an aperture of f8.0 (sweet spot of the lens) at 28mm X 1.6 multiplying factor due to a non-digital SLR lens on a dSLR. The ISO was set at 100, which has the least amount of distortion and graininess. The shutter speed varied from 8 seconds (for the best-lit areas) to a full 30 seconds ( for the low-lit areas, which most of the pictures were taken in). I like long shutter speeds for these kinds of shots, because it allows for a deep depth-of-field, in order to get all the buildings in the background in the shot clearly. I set the white balance on auto white balance, because there were too many different light temperatures available during the shoot.

I'm speechless!!! Those pictures are phenomenal...they should be in a car brochure! I want a new camera now and I want to find a spot to take some cool night shots. I love the rims on that grey 5th gen...very hot.
