2002 Maxima SE

Hello all, first real post, just wanted to say hi and show off a few pics of my ride...

and RIP to my old baby

Still living strong, but too much of a money pit...

Got the car about a week ago for $13965 locally.

Got it for reliability and speed. Plan to do basic bolt-ons, new tires, new rotors / pads and then create a turbo kit to put on my car at some point... give me your opinions.

It was listed on there site at 15990 (lot price), and e-price 13990. After taxes and all they wanted $15550, all I had was $15000, so they dropped the price for me. They were willing to do interior swap etc but I told them give me a keyless entry remote and we are good.

Ahh nice .. I used to have a PGT too (link) a few cars before this one. Got rid of mine for the same reason, though I do miss its handling. The Maxima is worlds above in terms of features and electronics ... everything amused me initially, particularly the one-touch sunroof, driver's window up, and automatic headlights.

2002 and up came in 6 speed, only the SEs though. They're harder to find than a pre-2001 5speed, for sure.

I just bought an 02 Maxima SE to replace my Probe too! What year is the Probe? I've got a 94 GT with 214k miles on it. She still runs great, but it's time for something a little more upscale for me.
