those dvinci's fit the 6th gen. i checked on em and dvinci says its a RWD wheel? you didn't have to do anything special in order to make it fit the max, did you?

eh screw it, i'll go with 18" so i won't have to do anything drastic

You dont have to do ANYTHING drastic to slap on the 20's. They do fit, just as long as you order the right size.

but i would probably have to buy new brakes and get a lowering kit and all that stuff right? did you find that your ride didn't accelerate at fast or anything like that blak?

Brakes and lowering your car is your decision. If I understand what youre asking, no you dont NEED new brakes or springs/coilovers to put the 20's on. Now if you want it to look oh so sweet...then Yes. No you cant physically feel the difference in acceleration but most likely there is a small difference.

anything else aside from acceleration that might have been affected with the mod
just wanna make sure cause if i make it and then it runs like a hyundai i'm gonna be cryin that spent all the money

Rims and a good set of tires will increase handling, more so with a good suspension setup, springs & shocks, or coilovers.
a heavy *** rim/tire combo could shorten the life of your shocks
