Big Brake Kit Installed (4th Gen)

Just got the 300zx/Cobra BBK installed. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/720766

The pics are at the bottom of the page along with a new side view. Toward the upper part of the page you can see a pic of the old rotors behind the murano rims for comparision.

Nice! Does the murano wheels clear w/o spacers? If yes, we need to add those wheels to the "wheels that clear the cobra bbk thread".

Looks really good.. I didn't like the murano rims at first, but they've grown on me. The BBK with blanks has just moved 'em up in my book. I dunno, I just don't really like cross drilled or slotted any more, unless it's purely for function.

Good choice of BBK and sweet car.

Well the weight is more yes. But what do you want for a BBK that can be done for less than $500?? One can always opt for the Eradispeed 2 pc rotors.

Most of the weight is centered so it's not as penalizing as hevier wheels that are 17"/18"/19" etc....

Try to be positive

If i was concerned w/ weight it wouldnt have been a fully loaded SE w/ 3 Subs. I wouls say the 18s but total tire rim weight was around 43lbs.

They aren't any worse than most oem or aftermarkets. Unless you grab some OEM Rays or spend the bucks on Volks etc.....

You think a bit more. Ehh its fine for now until I need it. No need to spend the money when h&rs are working for now. Thanks for the props though I love the way your car looks nice and clean. Definitely get the some type of BBK I think I like that better then the supercharger. Having such touchy brakes is amazing.

Brakes and wheels look great! How is the performance over stock and did you change the MC?
