it is quite possibly the slowet thing i have ever driven. my dad spent ~ 5-6 years putting the car together. this car is a damn near perfect replica of the one in the show. If he ever decides to sell it it should go for $60k+.

I know right. The back end had Knight Rider written on it with some huge wing thing.

So where did your dad get all the parts? Especially that dash. Its so crazy! Does it talk?

he just did some searching online and found sources for all the parts he needed. Him and a friend of his, which just so happens to be the same guy I bought my white car from, did some programming to the electronics so everytime a button is pushed it either says a phrase from the tv show or it does something like pop the trunk or turn something on.

That thing is neat as hell. Did anyone see the epidsode of Dream Car Garage/ Sports car revolution where the larger guy drove a carbon copy of KITT? Was it your dad's?

yeah Iwanted tobuild a replica of that to be my first car. I wound the sites with parts needed for exterior, interior and a/v items. i found another site with directions on how to put it all together. i even planned my performance mod becas i didnt want my kitt to be a slouch. heres the problem. '82-4 ta's are very hard to find. usually when i search for some kind of car i struggle to find a 5spd.the one time i need an automagic all busted 5 speeds

did your dad take it to the point of actually getting the car to talk, now that would be hot, especially if AT&T paid for it to be done

well it talks to a certain extent. there is no artificial intelligence system installed on the car if that is what you are referring to..

thanks to all for the compliments on the car.
