Bored today, so..

I wound up taking some pictures of the freshly washed and waxed Max.

I'll just spam them all up, I guess. And yeah, it's just in my driveway.

EDIT: just for the hell of it, I thought I'd post a full mod list--everything I've done to the car (and everything about the car I guess). Here goes:

Z32TT wheels, flip flopped (rears in front and vice versa)
245/45ZR16 Toyo T1Rs up front
225/50ZR16 Bridgestone RE730s in back
Progress springs on Koni yellows
Pass. side Raxle

9007 conversion with xtravisions
Hella FF75 driving lights
Custom Enterprise projector-style fogs
Amber 1157s in corners
Rewired fogs--on with parking lights

Wheelskin, black leather with perforated sides (to match stock wheel)
Redlinegoods armrest cover and ebrake handle, black faux alcantara and black perforated leather
AE shift ****
Bose aux input mod with toggle switch and Belkin ipod adaptor with line out
PIAA Super Sporza silicone wipers, 22" black (with spoilars for teh downforces!!!111)

Amsoil GL-4 synthetic
Mobil 1 10W30 with Nissan OEM filter
Wetsanded + polished the headlights
A lot of blood, sweat, polish, wax, microfiber towels, and tears

165k miles
DP0 with tan interior
ABS, Auto climate
Gold package (SHUT UP)
A few long key marks which I will hopefully collect insurance money on
Slightly scraped undercairrage from those never-ending speedbumps
A bunch of pebble chips on the nose

Split splash guard that I have yet to tackle
Disconnected the AC line and let some freon spray out to save weight
Special mod that makes the volume turn up no matter what I do to the ****

And before someone asks, no the Max is not towing the trailer (although I'm sure the VQ is perfectly capable of it).

Looking very nice...I'm anxious to finally post some pics of my DP0...soon enough, within a month (planning a full detail: clay, polishing stages by PC, Klasse, LSP). It's going to shine...

Thanks guys, I really like the wheels as well, the fronts look pretty beefy.

I was considering AEing the headlights for awhile, and then I realized that if I did that I'd have to smoke everything else on the car to match. I think I'm going to go about doing that all at once at some point, with smoked cefiros and a bixenon retrofit.

And yeah, DP0s rock. I'm actually planning to get a PC really soon and going at it as well.

Just to give you something to look forward to when you get your PC. All I can say is this paint DRIPS when polished right (look at the first one). I'll be doing a click and brag soon...after exhaust and full detail...

I would paint the Z rims to be gunmetal.

That's what everyone else says, too, but you know what? The stock bright alloy color contrasts the car very well and I really like it. Like most car pictures, it really does look better in person.

So you have the Turbo Rears in the front?

Looks a bit odd with the way our rear wheels are tucked in naturally but it took me a second to see what was off. Thinking spacers in the rear at least?

I think if I ever did Z32 wheels it would have to be TT rears all the way around, but more than likely you picked them up for a steal so probably a moot point.

I'm thinking I can pick up another set of TT rears for as much as some good spacers, and that's been the plan all along. But yeah it does look a bit odd, but I've kept in mind that the fronts back there is just a temporary thing. I was also thinking that maybe I could pick up another entire set of TT wheels, use all four rears on my car and then maybe either keep the NA wheels for... I dunno, something useful... or sell 'em off.

But yeah, that's the plan. The fronts stick out just a bit, and if I get rid of my negative camber it will be more noticeable, so I think I'm going to keep the camber... I'm not sure yet though. It also has to do with the fact that I don't really feel like shelling out for an alignment just yet...

Anyway I picked up a set of 1157As today, just for the hell of it:

They look more like the last one in person. I'm still not sure if I like it or not, or if I should try modding them to be brighter, or what.

P.S. Fr33way, I picked up the TT wheels for $150, including brand new tires on the fronts (had to drive 6 hours to get them though..)

I'm one for the contrast too...reminds me of my sawblades...but....better. ha

I'll dig you up some high res...the next detail will happen in the next month at most, and I can't wait. All I need is a clay bar, and a good day or two, and I'll get to it.

Also, check out autopia.org for some detailing tips. Everyone there is helpful, and I checkit out everyday to look at the click and brag section.

After looking at some of your pics I started to see somethings that looked strikingly familiar. So, I decided to take a look at your mod list and it turns out you stole some of my ideas!
