Few car shots...

I was inspired by whuzzup to play around with my camera more often so here goes some night and day pix of my ride. I am still learning how to play with f-stops and ISO settings so much of the pictures may have a lot of noise, especially the night shots.

Did you just order those??? What size are they??? They look like 17", but I don't know!

Do you rub on those, seems like the offset is a lil big!

Look like Sportmax wheels- maybe wide(9")17's w/spacers(?) or very little offset.

I got the whole set for $180 w/ new tires. Could not pass it up. My friend wanted to get rid of them because they were the crappiest set in his collection (he hase AME's, VSX, Gram Lights, etc etc) so he sold it to me for dirt cheap to get it out of his backyard. I do have spacers so the offset is pretty crazy and extreme (I think the current offset is around -3 hahahah), maybe too much for most. My fenders are rolled so I do not rub. The tires are also stretched (17x9 w/ a 215/45 tire).

Ahh you beat me to it. I was in the market for some low/aggressive offset S13/S14 type wheels.

Looks like perfect fitment to me!

Whats the rim offset and how big are spacers? If its not too much trouble, could you please find this out? I'm looking to buy wheels and want something with somewhat similar offset, but need to know exactly what yours is so i can go from there.

I think I'd like the rims better in gunmetal, but overall I still really like the car. Good job

Rims are +25 and the spacers in the front are also +25. In the rear spacers are +33. Crazy offset but my fenders are rolled and pulled a little so it makes it work imo. If I could get new spacers with these wheels, I would go 15mm in the front and 20mm in the rear.

Thanks. I had black rims prior to these ones and gunmetal with a machined lip prior to the black ones. I felt like I needed something new, something different. I haven't seen anyone with gold rims (other than the darker bronze) so i decided to test it out. If it did not work, I could duplicolor my rims into gunmetal. So far, I like it a lot.

I moved to a condo that has a driveway and sidewalk combined so it slopes pretty steep. I was sad at first but the freedom I have gained is well worth it. I think I might just do the blackbirdvq thing and get an AE lip only.

Ok thanks. I was looking at rims that are 17x8 with a 28mm offset and i was worried that it would stick out waaaaaay too much, i guess not haha!

I have three more pictures since I put my kit back on and modified it.

The offset flows even better now since the kit adds some width to the bottom portion of the car.

That looks crazy. The stretched tire look reminds me of the VIP cars. Have you tried the rims without spacers yet?

I thought they were too sunk in without the spacers. The car is lowered about 1 inch more the rear and 1/2 inch in the front to level it out and so the fender can meet the rim more. The offset doesn't look as wide since i have done that and it does carry very small and subtle amounts of VIP (stance and pulled fenders in the rear, but thats for more practicallity)

nice car, very clean. what kind of camera are you using? for the night shots, try using a longer exposure and a lower ISO to get lower noise levels.

I usually hate when the wheels stick out past the fenders, but your car looks great with the kit. Can't really go wrong with gold rims on a white car either.

Holy schnitz Eugene. I dont think I can do spacers though. 20mm in the back ftw!

According to the offset calculator, when I get mine, it will be 20mm extended from my current wheels of 42mm offset.
