5th gen Slammed on JIC+M/T DR's

M/T 275/40/17 on enkei rp01 17x8 30psi

just got them from a fellow org'er an mounted on a set of extra rims i got fom another fellow orger, note the bend on the driverside rim 12-0-clock. painted myelf with dulicolor, i havent sanded them since i cleared them, so theyre not perfect. but i had to pop them on and try them out.
JIC's set 5/5 rear 3/5 front.
4500rpm launches are way too much fun.

i only had them on for a few days, theyre not too bad to drive around with, even a to drive in the rain with them, not too bad imo. but theyre off now awaitng a day when i have th power to actually need them

That wheel/tire combo fits like a glove! Is it dangerous to run 275 on an 8" wide wheel though?

Nice combo aside from the bend. Get that fixed an make some runs at the track!

the bend in on the lip only, and doesnt effect sealing or balance. i got the rims pretty much for free. i was just trying them out. and i know everyone says this but the bend is alot more noticeable in pics then in person. if it werent right on top and out in the open its not very noticable

not really much rubbing oddly enough, i think it has to do with the 30psi, the tire just absorbed all the bumps. it was like driving on marshmellows

im hoping to get my headers and sfc put on in the next week or too, once i get those on, ill make some launch videos.

And I thought I was crazy running 555Rs 245-wide on a 6-inch rim. Lol! But it looks good! Might even try and go for 275s too.

Definitely air them down before running. My D/Rs love 20PSI and grip only at that range. Anything more and it'll still spin, anything less.. and I bog.

dang on 275 you might actually lose performance on turns due to too much wall flex...but they are some nice tires though...!
