Stretching the sidewalls will give the tire a more "direct" feel as well, as the sidewalls won't roll over when you corner.

I dunno, in a way I kind of dig the look... but IMO it doesn't really fit a Maxima too well. I doubt I'll ever roll on stretched sidewalls though, all that extra tread is just too appealing to me.

Stretched tires aren't good for cornering, in fact its a little dangerous.

Drifters stretch their tires, but they don't use them for grip, they slip them so it's different in that situation.

Well, not as dangerous as they'd have you believe. But the difference should be noticeable even without taking the tires to the limit. Have you noticed anything?

Well, they run stretched all around. Although not put under the same stress as, say, road racing, the fronts need to have a good amount of grip when you're drifting.

While I haven't checked in the least, I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who's had problems due to cornering hard on a stretched tire.

BTW, you may "only" be 18, but you were the only one not acting like a teenager back there. To hell with 'em.

If you didn't know now you know for sure how this org is. I won't catagorize everyone here but for the most part if it's outside of stock then it's ****.

Loved your car more before but I won't knock it. Especially being in the "infant" stage of the new outcome. Good luck man... Be easy.

That's less of a stretch but you have less profile than I do. I'm more cautious when it comes to parking.

So you pretty much have ZERO wheel gap. And with the stretched out tires it makes you look like you have even less wheel gap.

That doesn't look right AT ALL Your profile is way to small, should have gone with 45...or atleast 40

I lowered the rear already Brian, it's fully tucking with the lip almost touching the fender. working on the fronts.

You'll see at HIN, looks much better than that height now.
