Tried on some new Shoes ...

a guy that works with me used to have these 18inch rims on his 05 Accord EX but he decided to take them off since he wants to trade his car in.... He said he'll sell them to me for $500 cash, so i figured i'de stop by his place and try them on to see how they look..... i think its a good deal. and the rims actually look nice.
Note: i only tried on one rim since we were having some difficulties with the lugs...nothing wrong with the lugs its just that we had a difficult wrench and it was taking a while...

should i buy them? yes i know i'll need to drop the car a bit, but besides that..
the first pics came out kinda dark...needed more light but what do you guys think?

Don't look bad, how flush are they to the fender? With a drop they would look nice, the tire profile looks a bit small though...

but, would a drop be enough?? do you think i need to change the tires to slightly larger profile ones as well? or are the tires that it has now fine?

You need a larger profile, unless you drop with coilovers to the floor, either way a bigger profile is needed, simple, just sell the tires and get new ones What tire is on now? Im guessing around a 215/225 and what profile? I doubt they are that wide if they were on an accord. Personally i would go with a wider rim if it isn't atleast 8 inches wide, but if your happy...

no sireee..... the jack is completely lowered and the car is down. i know it very desperetaly needs a drop.. i'm thinking about just buying the rims and putting them into storage until i grab the right tire size and a new suspension set-up...

lol...she would be my friend's kid.. i went to his house to try on his rims. she is cute and ya i think she liked them. hell, with her approval it prolly wasnt even necessary to post this thread up.. as far as the pink little car goes, i am so jealouse of her, and i asked her if she wanted to trade cars with me, but she declined. (cant blame her)

They dont look bad but you would need that drop asap. Try to get some info like 17' 18's width of the rim. Offset.
