How I spent another Saturday and Sunday

Just wanted to share my weekend with you guys.

My son started rebuilding his motor and never finished it before going into the Marines. He's coming home from bootcamp in 2 weeks, so I took on this huge task to suprise him with it.
This was a complete block up rebuild, not much isn't new. All stock for this car. Car started right up and ran well, small coolant leak which we fixed

Time for a beer.













UPDATE:

Finished the dozens of little things that needed attention before a road test on Thanksgiving morning. Car ran just fine after rings broke in and stopped smoking.

old school rocks man good to see some heritage around and still reppin it.. even the generations in people; you and the elder man in the pic..

you guys have my respects, and the car too! very clean, hope your son is happy!

My wife's uncle ( in the blue, and almost 80) has been working on cars for most of his life. Works mostly on boats now, I learned alot doing this with him.
