Got a new ride!!

Yeah, so I caught the 6 speed bug. It's a 2003 6 speed Titanium Edition. Since my old one wasn't selling, I hade to trade it in... for an upgrade:

Hot! TE 6spd w/ LSD FTW! What's the mileage? How much did you pay?

And before Jason or Josh can get in here, this belongs in the member's rides section.

whoops.. lol.. oh well.. it has 49,000 miles on it.. the sticker price was $15,000.. but i had my 2001 max with 111,000 miles on it as a trade.. and with that factored in, the total price with tax, tag transfer and all that crap came to 16,000 even.. they told me it would be 16,800 with my trade, but with my superior negotiation skills.. lol.. no im just joking.. i think i sucked at negotiating this one.. i tried to get them down lower, but they wouldnt budge.. i even did the classic "walking out" thing, hoping that they would call me back and negotiate more, but it didnt work! lol

another org member helped me out on how to negotiate, but i dont think i did that good.. lol.. thanx anyway Jon

yeah.. my trade wasn't worth a whole lot.. but the price included the payoff of my old car loan.. you werent missing anything, i forgot to add that in.. lol.. so my trade didnt take anything off the price of the new car.. i basically sold it to them and had them pay off my loan.. at first they deemed my trade to be worth 6,700, but the payoff for the loan on my old car was 7,800.. so including the payoff with tax, tags, etc., i got it for 16 bottom line

the blue book trade in value for my car was just about 6700 in excellent condition.. so they actually gave me an additional 1,100 for it to pay off the loan... or just subtracted that off the price of the new car, still being withing their negotiation zone.. however you wanna look at it.. its all a numbers game anyway, but i think i got a fairly good deal though

Really nice purchase! Wish I could have found a 6 speed car but paying for a rental (my other car got totaled and the insurance company of the person who hit me only gave me 7 days of rental) was starting to add up. Even with an automatic, the VQ35s equipped cars are very entertaining to drive. I imagine a 6 speed version is even more fun.

thanx guys.. oh yeah, i definitely plan on doing some modding... but i gotta be responsible and do the adult thing and pay off my credit cards first.. gotdamn adulthood... lol.. but that should be done in january.. after that comes the stillen intake (saved from my old car), cattman headers, some type of tuning, intake spacers, SFC's, FSTB, hawk HPS's, SS brake lines.. for bling i'm gonna get some 6000k blubs, slightly smoked side markers and super white LEDs in all the sidemarkers... i think that's about it... tonight i just put some LEDs above my license plate it felt good to change something

Now there's a sweet Max. I plan on getting an A33B soon as well. It's going to be a 6sp with or without HLSD. If HLSD isn't installed, I'm gonna but it separate and have someone install it.
