Whatcha guys think?
Personally, I love them. I kinda want the back out a little bit more tho...maybe a 5-10mm spacer in the back?
and yes, my old wheels and tires have been sitting there, in my driveway, for almost a week now. I should probably put those in the garage eh?

And alignment is in the plans. I was supposed to this coming weekend, but that's not gonna work. Sometime soon tho.
I'll give the fronts a little neg camber, but not so much that my tires will get pwned.
What do you think about some spacers in the back?

"Mr. 'no bigger than 17'"
+1 on that front camber BUT you dont want to wear down those T1Rs too quickly now. 10mm in the rears and youre good to roll. a slight poke all around is what youre aiming for Looks good Mowgli.
btw what size tires you wrapping?

255/40-17. They were the lightest tire I could find that didn't cost me and arm or leg. No complaints so far, I'm just waiting to see how they wear...
I can't wait to get some SFC's on this bish and really push these tires.

Thanks man! I knew you were secretly envious
It's not the being a man I have a problem with, it's the being poor from buying tires....premature wear FTL!
(I've already got almost 800 miles on these things in one week!)
Should I avoid ebay crap and get eibach, ichiba, or H&R? I have too many other mods to do (SFC, WBO2, AFC, etc.) before I drop 70+ bucks on spacers

Also, I drove in the rain yesterday, as you can see in the pics, and they seem to perform nicely. I'm wondering if they'll be as good as the BFG's were...time will tell!

Looks great. I've always liked those rims and I'd get those in silver if were in the market now.
Why are you considering spacers? For looks or to increase the rear track width? Or both? Just curious.

Had that planned before I purchased the wheels. I just need to buy a set of outside red/clears first. I'll be needing the the clear version of the OEM type reflector, not the ghetto kind I dremeled when I did the red/clear mod.

I'm just considering the spacers for looks, I don't like how the rear wheels aren't as flush. It wouldn't make much sense to increase rear track width, if not for looks, as it would only induce slightly more understeer... right? (assuming it would make a noticeable difference)

BTW...A few more pics at my cardomain:http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2919669
I hope to keep it pretty up to date with future mods, and I'll be putting up some interior pics, engine shots, etc.

I just seem to recall people setting up their suspension in a way that widens both front and rear track width (maybe in unequal amounts though), but are able to keep steering pretty neutral or even oversteer, that's why I was asking. I guess the point is to reduce some lateral weight transfer by increasing track width.
Any recommendations on spacers? I can't find anything for under $100ish

+1 on my350z.com. lots more deals there, even for WBo2 too (for future reference). there are already some sets of spacers for sale in the Marketplace forums. check it out. also, PM AuToMaX_95 here on the .org to see if he can get a deal for you in 10mm spacers.

Already beat you to it! For dailing driving, illuminas are on 5 all the way around. I only soften them for taking the g/f on a date

Plenty of 20-25mm spacers left though.
For WB02s, one of their vendors Z1 Performance seems to have pretty competitive pricing. The regular FS stuff goes really quick if it is a good deal because of how much traffic they get over there.

I think once my illuminas blow/get old I'll replace the fronts with koni dampers. Should I stick with the Eibach springs or go with the GC's? I'd like to go a bit lower...but IDK.

if you want to get more aggressive, go with the GC's as the Koni Yellows are able to be shortened. what some people do is go with 3rd gen Koni Reds inserts in front as they are short for that application but can fit in 4th gen housings. only thing with the Reds are that they are non-adjustable. BUT you dont have to hassle with shortening the Yellows. tradeoff i guess. the Koni Yellow/GC is a pretty popular combo among autoXers and roadracers as spring rates and dampening can be customized from the manufacturer.

default rates: 450lb/in front and 350lb/in rear. Illuminas are WAY too soft, even on the stiffest setting.

No rolled or stretched fenders. No rubbing either!
I would never try rolling my fenders...the guy that painted this car for me did a SH!TTY job and I'd be surprised if the paint didn't crack while rolling the fenders.
