Debadge trunk ftw
Debadged the trunk on Saturday. The only thing I have left on there is a supercharged decal that I'm very tempted to remove as well. Enjoy the hotness.

A couple other pics I took today:

I recently did this to my 4th gen as well. Since it has been raining I havent been able to clean the glue residue and dirt off yet, I'm hoping after a wash and claybar that it'll be as silk smooth as yours.
Love your max!

I debadged my max almost imediately...only thing is the paint was pitted under my badges so in certain light you can still see where they used to be
I'm gonna have to get a paint job
I bow to your awesome max *bows*

What I did was just a heat gun to remove mine. First I started off with getting the badge off the double side tape. That helped the adhesive release from the paint. If you try to pull it off or use fishing line, you're more likey to get some pitting or pull chunks of paint with it. Then went back and heated the tape to remove it. There was a lot of old wax build up etc. Used some 3m wax/adhesive/stain remover to clean off all that stuff. Then went over with a light polish, then waxed it to seal it all up. ![Smilie](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Wow, I guess I just made the biggest rookie mistake ever. To be honest, since this was on the first page of this section I didn't even look at the date of the posts.....or read the post right before mine...
Sorry about that.
OP, nice (old) car. She's a beauty.
