Me and 4DRSpeed headed up the road to US129 today for a fun day of fast and curvy roads. Here's da pr00f:

And the best photo of them all......

Proof that radar detectors are never a substitute for common sense. Officer told me I was doing 61 in a 40. He clocked me from 200 yards away. I was probably doing close to 70 when I heard the radar beep. Officer was really nice though and let me off with a warning. He asked "Did your radar detector not work soon enough?" HAHA. But I still had a good trip. The warning was just my souvenir.

There was only the one ticket , thankfully a warning.
I've been thinking about raising the back up a tad. I'm pretty sure messing with the back won't require another alignment.

I caught your stealth ninja edit, and I counter with my own!
There are a few companies up there that make money off selling photos of the cars that go through. Once they get them up I might buy some this time.

Yeah, that would be fine. It's just like a UFO or something, it might have to do with the wheel fitment as well... wider wheels wider stance never hurt nobody

Hope you all stayed in your lane! I ride my Ducati there multiple times a year. Pretty scary to have a car in your lane.. But as good Max drivers I am sure you kept them on your side of the double yellow..

oh ya, I never lane cross, this isn't Britain. Some of you bikes though need to keep your distance from the yellow, hanging your heads over it, makes me nervous at times especially if you guys are flying through there.

Normally if I touch lines it's on a staight road where I could care less about staying in my lane. But on curves I don't want to risk other's or even my own life by crossing the lines. If I'm going so fast that I can't stay in the lines then I'd classify that as out of control. I'm normally a pretty safe driver (other than the speeding thing).

You changed the address of the picture you dirty bastid! I changed it to a link instead... figured you'd get enough traffic that it wasn't a problem though..

Here are some thumbnails from http://www.us129photos.com. It looks like they haven't finished uploading them, so there will probably be more later.

Just for kicks I found a stock Maxima that went through The Dragon. Notice the stock body roll. LOL.

holy crap the body roll son!!

looking through the photos I noticed as the day went on the more bugs that show up on the front bumper. Well killboy and zeefoto don't have theirs up yet, but it seems as if us129 and moonshine didn't take very many.

Yeah, that area is loaded with dams. If you've seen the movie "The Fugitive" then this dam should look familiar as well:

I took this photo from another run up The Dragon. We didn't actually go there this time.

Yeah, Andrew has the 350z wheels on his G and the G wheels on his maxi. I honestly thought the Z wheels looked better on the G than the OEM 7-spoked wheels.

needs more action shots. too many stills with the same stuff. kinda boring. also next time at least line up the cars with the wheels in the same direction.

on a brighter note, i bet the drive was fun.

Yeah, we went there for the drive not the pictures. There are action shots in the links that 4DRSpeed posted. It's hard to take action shots on that road. If you ever go, then you would know why . That's why they have people that do it for you. There are only two or three areas that are straight enough to let go of the wheel to snag some photo's the rest of the time you better be be holding tight or you may be off the side of the road or in the grill of a passing car.

nice, good stuff ryan
Talha! I haven't been whoring lately. I'm sorry. Too much school, not enough ***** time.
