I never said I attempted to do make a 14 second pass, my car runs 16's, the best pass I did was a 15.9 stock. Now my car is an auto and it is a 2000 model.
I understand that with a auto you lose some hp because of the tq converter, and I understand that the 3.5 has about 30 more hp.
But its hard for me to believe that basically my same car with 30 more hp and a manual is a WHOLE 2 seconds faster in the 1/4 mile.
30 hp does not make the difference between a 14 sec car and a 16 sec car so there must've been some other variable which allowed the car to be so quick..

Another question have u driven a MT car before? Especially with cars with low HP&TQ numbers like ours it makes alot of sense why the MT is so much quicker. i have both an MT and AT 4th gen and stock for stock the MT is a lot quicker than the AT, cars that the AT would struggle with the MT just walks by them.
Like i said before just because you cannot do it doesnt mean that others cant and they are lying about there times.
And yes they do move out. I'd roll one.
So the time slips and videos that people post up are lies? GTFO with that ****, just because u cant do it doesnt mean its not possible. Another thing u should understand is tracks differ, some tracks are "faster" than others, so on one track a 5.5 gen might only be able to crank out a high 14, u take it to a better one it runs low 14s. We go by the best time on the best track, why use the slow time?

If you have read some reviews on the ISf that Lexus has, the biggest complaint is actually that the car has too many gears...its constantly changing and its annoying
U have to do me some favors too thenhell yea its boring, its a stock *** maxima
OK, let me hope in Veyron with its 6 gears see how that works out for yeai was just getting on bigles, the 7 speeds on the M5s i have heard arent bad, what they should do for the lexus is reserve the final 2 gears for cruise control and MT mode, 6spd autos really arent bad at all.
i think the engine should do all the work and the transmission should stay out of the way

I would have to agree though with very little money you can make that thing stupid fast. IE smaller pulley.

I would love to mod this car...and if I was gonna have it the next 4 years...you can expect somethings to happen...but I want to wait and see where I'm gonna end up.
