Found my first timeslips from rockingham. Completely stock in hot **** 90 degree weather.

I'm #27 and I'm pretty sure steven was 25

 

na, that better not be me. i dont think ive ever run 15s in this car like that, certainly never trapped in the 80s. that might be the red maxima from cary....

 

We didn't meet the red maxima guy until I was already running 13s.

Those 2 timeslips are from our first time going to the track almost a year and a half ago. It was just you and maybe jaques who actually raced, and jaques was running 16s.

It was hot and everybody was running slow. I said "i think" that was Steven, but I'm 99% it was you.

That was before your emanage and all that, back when you WERE running 15s and trapping 80s. lol

 

never, ive never run 15s in this car. heck, the very first time i ever went to rockingham with nijel and joe i ran a 14.7 at some mph. maybe thats nijel... i have video of us running for the first time as a matter of fact...

 

I'm sure I've watched you run 15s before, with bad '60 foots like in those 2 runs. I didn't say they were your PB runs or something.

Seriously all it takes to make your trademark 14.7 into a 15.0 is a .15 slower '60 foot.

haha no need to be embarrassed, the DA was probably 3000-4000. I knew it was you because I remember us lining up almost every time we ran at that track meet.

edit: in all fairness, you can see the cone that's keeping him out of the groove causing excessive spinning. ****ing rockingham douchebags can die in a fire.

I was told by the camera guy today that I shot 2-foot flames when I let off after flooring it in first while he was following me to my house. And here we thought only you 4th gen guys shot flames!

 

Here's an in-car video with 300lb passenger/cameraman. The 2 of us sure know how to turn a 3060lb car into a 3600lb one

I actually did that exact same thing today, on my way home, pulling out of the Wal-Mart parking lot, pedaling 1st gear till I hooked up and crossed into the red

Are you simultaneously asking how I blew my "motor" and whether I blew it yet, in the same poorly written question? My passenger side window motor is blown. Hopefully that answers your question.

The end time does not determine who wins, it's the combination of your ET with your R/T that determines who wins. You can OBVIOUSLY see the win light go to the honda.

 

Well my window motor is blown. There aren't many other motors in a car than windows and I don't think I've blown any of those.

Swapped back to my stock (vias delete) IM this weekend... Kinetix is sold and shipped.

Redid my battery relocation with a new tray and home brew brackets, then changed my intake.

Going to be running it like this with the filter right over the hole into the fender where I ran the CAI so it still gets some cold without excessive length or bends.

Needs paint and 1 more black coupler, and I'll probably start using my engine cover again...

 

Nice pics and videos. I remember when Steven came down here to Florida and ran in 100 degree weather. Which car is your priority now, the Maxima or the Rx-7? Still one of my fav 5th Gens..

 

The Maxima will feel "finished" when I'm done with it. After that, it's RX-7 swap time.

 

Is that 3" exhaust piping I see being used as intake piping?

 

Yes, it's 3" steel piping.
