If I'm not mistaking he is using Ground Control Coilovers.

I know what you mean.... but in all honesty, theres a lot of Maximas running around in the org with similar wheels. Its unavoidable. I went with what looked better, and plus the fact that I picked up these G35 wheels for 300 was just icing on the cake! LOL
Plus I really thought the 18's looked too narrow for the car. At least i'm the only Maxima in El Paso running around with these... at least I think! LOL

I am running on ground controls. I had to actually cut a notch out of the KYB struts housing to make it sit lower. The adjusting nut on the coilovers were hitting with the strut's spring housing. Doing so, I was able to get it to go about 1/4-1/2 lower in the front... the rears did not need modification.

I was amazed how well they sit on the car. Its like they were meant for the car. The front and rear sit perfectly flush to the wheel wells... not too out and not sunk in like my 7.5's

here's another pic...I'll get one that shows how they're flushed with the wheel wells... after I roll the rear fender and drop it some more...(i had to raise the rear last night because it was scraping, but it'll be back to the way it is in these pictures)

Two wheels didnt come with them... thay were damage from a wreck and the insurance company paid the owner of the G35 for the wheels and told her to keep them. So they gave them to my bro, without caps, and he gave them to me.

I love this setup as much as I loved your old setup. It looks real good.

It's not better or worse in my eyes, it just looks different.

New G wheels look sick as hell...good look for your car. It's stance is now as mean as what lurks underneath the hood

The new rims look amazing on your car, although I like both rims (the old and the new), I think for your car, the new rims look better.
