Its a static cling tint, i just cut it to the shape i wanted painted it then stuck it on. i had to do a little heat shrinking to get around the curve, but it turned out great; looks similar to the v2 eyelids

I'll keep my plastic fogs. I do like the looks of the newer bumper, but I don't want the glass fogs. Plus I think the plastic ones look better. Just my .02 though. Looks good.

stillen lip for the 5.5 bumper > stillen lip for the 5.0 bumper...without the lip I cant really say that I like the 5.5 bumper more than the 5.0

That's my take on it too.
With an AE lip, the 5th gen looks good enough.
Although stock 5 vs 5.5, I like the looks of it just a lil more.
I do agree entirely about the fogs. I hate my glass fogs.

I second that. Especially since your car is black. I think the main styling feature that sets off the 5.5 is the grille. With it being larger with the very pronounced 3 bars versus the 5's almost minimized features, it brings a nice structure to the front end.

Looks good, and those eyelids add a bit of an aggressive look to it...I might have to look into getting some.

100% agree. Doing the same bumper/hid swap on my AE but keeping plastic fogs.
