Need Opinion

I have been going back and forth between painting my lip or leaving it black, I am going to be getting the insides of my headlights done black. Eventually I will get the rest of the body kit, but I need some opinions/ advise on what I should do. I am about to lower car as well kind of concerned about painting it and then scraping like a side walk or something when I park.

If you paint it, it will look more stockish. If you leave it black and inside headlight black, it might look aggessive. IMO.

Damn you tiler

I still don't know I guess I can paint it and if I don't it change it back, Although the black does make it look more aggressive then if it was painted.

The other thing that I kinda want to do is get the 5.5 gen side skirts and the Stillen rear valence and paint those black and have everything black. I feel that if I that it will not flow well and will just look like I just took them out of the box and put them on the car.

Get those parts, and paint them as well. It'll make the car look lower rather than higher up.

See the thing is that I am in between if I wanna lower her or not, when it snows I have to drive to Boston to plow. To me its a very hard decision, but I do know that I need the side skirts more then the rear lip I think my car looks terrible since its not finished, there is also something about that front lip I don't like but I just don't know what it is.

Paint it please. Some cars flow well with black lips, but I dont think yours is one of them.

You will get used to it. Be careful at first. But after a while, it will become second nature to stay away from curbs.

Yea I agree, I do not think my car is one of those cars that can pull it off I will end up painting it.

As for lowering it I am still contemplating it. If i lived were there was no snow it'd be done already.

I would suggest getting 2 bumpers and switching them off for the season. One with the lip on and one without. But of course you also have to factor in the cost of the second bumper and paint.

I would prefer coil overs but I don't have that kind of cash so I will end up doing springs. Not really sure of what I want yet though. I dont want the rear to be higher then the front I want it to be nice and level.

^^Just paint it.. Springs drop your car but your car won't be "that" low to where you're plowing through everything and you just get used to parking not so close to curbs.

paint it, black looks unfinished. if your worried about scrapping it when you park your car, you should be more carefully when you park...

I can see how it looks unfinished, I am going to order sarona side skirts and lower springs this week. When I get the skirts I will paint the lip and post the pictures back up here to see what people think.

i dont know colors i have a tow company and we sell all our cars to the junk yard. i get a huge discount on major parts like engines etc. so all bumpers usually need to be painted.

paint the inside of your headlights black, the grill black, and leave the lip unpainted and go for a two tone aggressive look....if you arent planning to do those things then paint it IMO
