Update. So here is how the car is sitting as of today. Got the trans out awaiting my ACT clutch. Leather interior is now cleaned/conditioned and installed. Did a test fit of my Gauge pod. I plan on picking up some Autometer Phantom gauges (water temp, oil pres, and A/F) because they match the look of the stock gauges best. Converted the HVAC controls, gauges, and door switches to white leds. Installed the new drivers door to replace the old crappy one. Just gotta finish swapping the trim and door handle. Its moving right along still got a **** ton of work ahead of me but its right on track to be done for spring!

Test fitting gauge pod.

Dirty Trans

Finally a new door!!

I really need to clean the garage!! lol

Otherwise nothing much. Still need to find a good used greddy emanage ultimate and decide on what suspension I want but that wont be for a month or so. I also want to find a better front bumper. I feel a freshly painted one will look too out of place. There are pics above of the latest progress.

Well decided i need some garage space back and now that the trans is back in i threw the old suspension back in and moved it around. Also finished up all the wood grain trim, short throw shifter and installed the custom shift boot. Its actually from a 02 legacy and is really nice quality. I should have a z32 shift **** to complete it soon. As for the 00vi. I still need to run some vacuum lines, fuel lines and paint the front valve cover to match the rear. I also need to install the vafc but im still not sure where im going to mount it. I think its gonna go in the glove box so its out of the way and not visible. Ill have my suspension soon thanks to |blackonblack| its H&R springs and KYB AGX struts. I still need to install my headers but the grounds just too cold for me to be under the car right now. Here's some pics!!

+1 on that... i bought my Maxima (97 SE) from a guy out here in Illinois... he got it from a guy in New England... the car was out there untill 2005... and i have very little rust for the year and where it has been.

If its taken good care of , It def will last out there... even though winters suck there and trust me I know (I lived in mass)

Btw like the head lights alot. Where did you get them? I wanna get the same ones for my car...

The rods are in there but the valves aren't. I didn't want to use jb weld in there the rods shouldn't cause any restriction at all.
