Gottcha. It looked like that was the case but the shadows make it look like the butterfly flaps are still there. I dont blame you for not wanting to put the jb weld there.

 

Wished I was mechanically gifted like you.....would've saved me a LOT of money.

Thanks guys! I gotta take some good pics. Cars been on the road for a few days now and ive done 180 city miles cant wait to hit 300. The car definately needs a tune. I played around with the vafc a bit because around 30% throttle it starts to cut out and backfire. So I pulled some fuel out and it runs much better. Just to be sure I put it back to 0 again until I get it tuned.

 

Discovered my car is leaking oil yesterday. Nice big puddle on my garage floor. Fortunately its only comming from the rear valve cover. So I pulled the Intake mani off again. Gotta make a parts run tomorrow and pick up a new one. Other than that got 250 miles on my new clutch!!!! Break-in is almost done.

 

NEW PICS!!! Still need a door handle, bumper and mirror to be complete but its not bad.
