While I agree with you that it can be easily taken too far, I have to disagree with you a little at the same time. I think that you're right when it comes to the wheels. Alloy wheels probably look better on a beige car (to the OP, I like your modifications, fellow Gold Member) but I personally think that the black tails look better on the beige car than the reds (mine) or the clears.

In my honest opinion, I think that the clear tails looks too Lexus and that does not sit well with me, not at all seeing as I can't stand Toyotas or Lexus. It also makes the car age more rapidly and fit in with old people...I've seen both black and clears around and I would instantly buy the blacks.

I actually think clears look better on blacks and grays more than beige, to be honest.

I still agree with most of your post, just my .02.

Edit: I'm also not a huge fan of my Sunlit Sand (except for when it looks silver depending on the light) but I still love the car anyway. Also, I didn't get a choice when it came to the car color so I'm just waiting until she goes in a few years or so until I get a car in the color of my choice.

i now have ICW 17s they are a black face with a chrome lip. i figured the chrome lip will compliment the door handles and it does. i will have to take some pics when i get my hands on a camera since people arent allowed to with a camera phone

looks like you made a few appearance mods on your ride and i have to say it looks clean! only thing id loose is the front license plate.

 

My old wheels were beat up and these wheels came with new tires.
Got wheel spacers for less than a Subway sandwich.
Front plate is necessary, police harassment must be avoided
