It's the fact that it's a pointless cosmetic mod that undercuts purpose and functionality. Tail lights are supposed to be red to provide a clear warning to drivers behind you that you're slowing down. Those defeat that purpose. Falls into the same category of Civics with massive wings and horrendous body kits. Pointless cosmetic mods that defeat purpose and functionality. It's similar to the ugly altezza phenomenon IMO. No need to get defensive about it, like you said you didn't put them on the car so you're not to blame. Don't take what people say in this section personally. It's all about constructive criticism. You've gotten a lot of positive feedback because your car has a lot of good things going on already. Everyone here is trying to give you advice for what they think you can do to make your car look the best that it can. No need to get defensive, we're all just here to offer our insight
