MaxiNone's POS...

*WARNING CRAPPY CELL PHONE PICS*

heres my 99 maxima gxe, i've had it for almost 2yrs and i'm really loosing interest in it. heres a link on how it looked when i first bought it 2yrs ago
http://forums.maxima.org/members-rid...m-n00b-my.html

here are some pics i took out of the blue a couple days ago, wheels specs are 18x7.5 +41 :/

here's a clearer pic of the wheels

^^got this sticker made due to a comment made on another forum. thought it was funny a definitely true lol

future mods are ID classic front lip with "new" sides and rear valances, fixing rear passanger quarter panel (some idiot backed into it and still waiting for insurance money), take off 2.5 exhaust pipe (rear section) and add 3in (debating between single or dual(and yes its probably going to stick out a bit more than the currant one)) and add 25mm spacers for the rear.

^^^i honestly dont know why i'm loosing interest in it. this has been the only car that i dont fell motivated to do stuff to, maybe its what i'm going through right now that makes me feel that way. hopefully when i get back on my feet my interest will came back lol.

some red clears are on my list of "mods to get", the stillen lip isnt tho cause its a common lip (along with the "new'' ID lip) for the 4th gen. i'm getting the ID classic lip cause i've had it before and because its not a lip that i havent seen anyone on the org with. as for the exhaust, a single or dual 3in pipe is going to replace the current one. no current after market has caught my interest cause the look i'm going for isnt a "clean and simple look lol, i'm trying to make my maxima look a little different from the rest. besides, performance is the last thing i care for cause my a32 is a slowmatic

Very cool, at first I thought your grill was so chrome that it was reflecting something that clearly.

But its very unique and different than the trend that everyone is following. Very nice!

Looks nice. I like the drop. How's the ride with the ksport springs and GR2's? It looks a little lower than other ksport spring set ups, I guess because you're auto, more weight up front.

Anyway, looks good.

^^^thanx, it rides a bit rough but it think its because the front struts are going out. besides I already know that once you lower a car you loose the stock ride and feel, so to be honest the "roughness" doesnt bother since i already expected it to be once i lowered the car...

wheels and exhaust, definitely need changing..or at least a 10mm spacer(front) 15mm spacer (rear)...but this is a toughy..i'm not feeling those side mirrors either, it definitely has potential

the mirrors came with the car when i bought it, they dont bother me as much as they use to but the will be changed some time in the future. and for the wheels like i told greddymax, you dont know what they probably are or the rarity. dont take offense, i'm just saying if you probably knew what they where you would probably wouldnt of said what you said. the exhaust is going to be changed, but for a bigger diameter and possibly a dual set up. i knew people wouldnt like it on this site cause its "different" or "dumb" compared to other maxima's on this site. i'm just going in a different direction than 99% of 4th gen owners, i just see no sense in trying to make my car look like the next guys...

i 100% feel you on that statement!!!!

IMHO wheels are wheels...there are some volks that i want to like because of the name, but hate because of the styling, but like i said, i think some spacers would help those wheels alot, it could be more of the fitting than teh style.

i'm not knocking what you have and i feel you on your individuality and i'm anxious to see what cat you pull out of the bag with this, granted you end up keeping it.

i know you not knocking on me, at first i didnt like the wheels but i got them superrr cheap(i spent twice as much on new tires than what i spent on the wheels) but they grow on me pretty quick. as for the spacers I'm going for 25mm on the rear, i dont think i can put anything smaller than 25 up front so i'm leaving it alone up front. the wheels are 5x114 & 4x114, so the dont have the wholes on the rear part of the face for the spacer bolts. 25mm on the rear should make it flush since the wheels are +41. I'm going to do what i want to this car (cosmetic wise) before i get rid of it (if it comes to that in the future...

ok, ill be the one to ask. about the exhaust tip, since you made it point that the next will stick out even farther, is this a trend that is increasing? maybe called a certain style? cuz i know ive seen some VIP cars have crazyyyy long exhaust tips. ive seen some that go up almost higher than the trunk lid. just wondering if you were going for something in particular....

the style your talking about is called bosozoku, i consider mine to be inspired by that style and to be honest ever since i got the car in 08 i wanted to do the exhaust like it is now. the "new" tips i'm going to put will probably stick out about another 5in and angled up more(some what of a 45* angle). I'm not gonns lie, but this is a trend that is coming up but I've actually been wanting to do this since before i had my max. I'm in s bit of a financial trouble now, but as soon as i get back on my feet the "new" tips are going to be the first things on my to do list.

Not sure why you're rocking fat lace, or illest stickers, when your max is anything but fitted, stanced, or static.

lol i hear ya.. btw they have spacers as small as 5mm..i think after 8mm you will start to have to look for extended wheel studs/the adapter style that you bolt on, like you would the 25mm...i think some 15mm up front would do it justice in line w/ the 25 you plan on throwing in the back.

I do have a question for you though...before painting, why didn't you fix or replace the hood?

^^^yea, your right, but i only spent $25 on the paint job. when i get a new hood it wont cost me much to paint it...

^^^yea, dub made custom wheels for me. i guess since my wheels arent rotas or sportmaxx noobs like you cant spot(or even know) authentic oldschool wheels when you see them. so go save your pennies to get those cheap fake wheels that you want so bad, i'll keep mine knowing that there rea,l authentic wheels .

the FL stickers were given to me, i could care less about this current ridiculous trend that that site and others "adore"...

15up front and 25 on the rear would make it perfect, i am considering extended studs cause the wheels barely clear the studs just enough for the lugs to bolt on, so 5mm is even to much to bolt on my lugs lol...
