This is my 'new' 229k miles..tough on the eyes, and not many plans for this but just to daily drive it to and from work and save money on gas
these are the before pics on this car that i am posting in this post. interior needed/s alot of love. it needs carpet but my money is exhausted right now. but i picked up some EP3 seats i purp powered and armor alled the interior and door jams. the a/c wasnt working so i put it in the shop...since its a beater and the a/c wasnt working as from the factory i have it connected to a switch. 20% tint is on it, carpet is as clean as its gona get until i get money to replace the carpet. it needs two rear non power window regulators and a hose to run from the IM to the PCV valve and a plug for the B20 VC PCV valve location and a little more cleaning/tiddying up of the engine bay...all in all, pretty solid car. guy i bought it from pretty much revamped teh entire top end. new clutch, water pump, timing belt, seals, yadda yadda

Plans:
Ok/Decent set of coilovers $300 range
wheels (around the price of a set of new 14" tires...$300-400)
cheap/decent stereo setup (deck and speakers and maybe a subwoofer setup)
MAYBE a paint job
replace rear window regulators
paint VC wrinkle red (ordered)
paint header shield black
replace catback w/ ordered Ebay catback (ordered and installed 6-12-11)
6k HIDs (ordered and installed 6-5-11)
yellow foglights (ordered and installed 6-5-11)
Purple power taillights to whiten the 'pink lines'

I wont order One piece headlights until i find a set for around $150 or so....and thats a maybe...anyway, on to the pics

I usually dont like those Integras (white) because of how ****ty people around here mod them but wow, yours is clean - nice job

Definitely agree, the integra is a nice pic up. Sorry about the white one though...it was a nice looking beast.

 

Boo, I was expecting to see b(.)(.)bs since the title had DD in it. I miss my DA, it wasn't the prettiest but it sure was the funnest car I've owned. JASPER GREEN FTW!!!...

put my catback on today from ebay:















only bad thing about the fitment is two of the hangers dont 'fit' properly so i need to take it to the exhaust shop and have them fit it so itll sit up a little higher. but its extremely quiet..love it

 

sound clip, drop it, paint, interior, stereo, wheels look nice, new mats, retro'd lights. come back at us with updates man

Eewww at retro'd headlights on a DA integra, and I never liked the yellow fogs on the DA's. I ran hyper whites on mine just so it won't look like every modded DA in town. Are you going to repaint it the jasper green that it is now?...

 

i'm guessing you're blind as i never mentioned retrofit and the car is clearly not jasper green...

but for one...i have the only DB1 ridign around and 2 other DAs. but IF i repaint, as i mentioned...itll be stock color (the baby blue color). im not spending alot on this car, hence the ebay exhaust i put on

*over my head (except the purpose of seat covers since i have replacement seats...confused as ****)* ill get pics... car has been cleaned, tinted (20%), catback installed, hids and yellow 'foglights' installed, seats installed. wont be any wax except on the windows so itll help w/ the rainy days.

 

VC wont be done until middle of next week, same for the finishing up of the catback i installed...i need to go to the exhaust shop for tehm to mod a hanger i'm going out of town this weekend...need a break from the BS

 

I was referring to the post that max ride posted about the retro's, and your car is jasper green paint code BG-22M. It doesn't look like green but its labeled in the color code...

LOL you going to tell me my car is green, and i look at my car everyday? did you not see the interior pics? its blue...jasper green doesnt have blue interior, it has tan interior....palmy blue i believe is the correct name of my color. but yea i wont be doing retros even if i get the 1 piece JDM headlights. IMO, not really worth my time

They both look very similar but you can barely see the difference. I just think jasper green and aztec green were the 2 best looking colors for that gen integra. I got a little too excited lol. Any who, I have a jdm integra horn/button cover for $40 shipped if ur interested...

Just for peace of mind, the DA's are actually a little harder the steal compared to the other Honda's. It has something to do with the placement of the ignition switch or something like that. Their stealable but not a common tho, well atleast where I'm from.

Have u bolted the ep3 seats yet? I wanted to know if they fit high. I helped a friend bolt up some in his dc4 and they sat high. The headrest part was like a lot higher than his stock seats...

 

LOl a honda is a honda, and yes...they are stolen just as much as the other hondas...check G2IC forum...its pretty bad. yea i do have teh EP3 seats in...i still have to get the passenger seat locked in but yea they 'headrest' does sit pretty high..but even me being 6'3...i'm not complaining, i absolutely LOVE the feel of these seats, best seats i've sat in

I haven't been to that site in years, and of course your going to see a bunch of stolen DA's in a site dedicated to one car model. I've never in my life heard or read that maximas get stolen until I've seen the few that have been posted on this site. Like I was saying, hardly any 2nd gen integras get stolen where I'm from.

Anyways, I had del sol seats in my DA and they sat pretty low. Post pics of the seats installed, I would like to see how they look in your car...

even on this site i dont see much max's getting stolen, except for up in Maryland area...which is why i wont go up there for a meet but 2nd Gens do get jacked, and as a victim, reowning another honda...of course...i'm nervous as hail. i've heard of a chop shop no more than an hr from where i live, which is, i'm sure, where they took my gsr and chopped it up and dispersed its parts.

i keep delaying taking pics, but i will get some...if its cool enough outside during my lunch ill snap a few pics and post em up

 

I hear ya, that's the one thing I like about my maxima I don't have to worry about it not being where I parked it when I get out of work or the mall. I hated that feeling with my previous hondas I've owned before my maxima. It was to The point where stock automatics were getting stolen.

I think 99-00 Si wheels look best on 2nd gen integras (when it comes to oem wheels), I really would like to see how the seats look in your car...

 

lol i was suppose to get em on my lunch but then i got refocused on preparing to curse out allstate for my high premium, until he put me in my place and reminded me that the maxima's due date was coming and the integra falls w/ it...so...ahh well lol

but w/e i find the best deal on wheel wise...i'm really wanting blades, but id settle for SIs...or even meshies now. mainly concerned on having a good set of tires
