Sorry for the random picture sizes...Idk why that happened.
I plan to completely shave the new trunk lid, throw my reverse camera in the keyhole, and DTM the tails.

I think The 95-96 tails look great too, but they make the whole car look older....the quality of the 97-99 tails give the rear a "newer" look compared to the 95-96 housings...plus I scored the full swap for about $50 so I'm trying it out for awhile. I'm planning on DTM'ing my tails or clearing them home depot style.
Moreover, I don't care about having a "rare" look to my maxima. In the while state of Kentucky it's "rare" to see a modified maxima, period. Lol
I'm torn between the spoiler/no spoiler.

Okay----So I stopped by home depot on the way home from work and picked up a sheet of plastic lighting cover and a razor blade and went to town....red/clears FTW, keep in mind I only did the outers for now. I'll most likely open them all back up, DTM them and keep the clear sheeting inside the housings with them.

Haha. It's a Greddy SP2 catback. It was expensive but definately the best catbacks for our cars IMHO. No idea how big the tip is, I've never measured but I'd guess 4"
+1 wayyyyy better! no spoiler FTW
lol, you dont wanna claim the 99 and all its problems! stick with 97! its still 1 year newer! and that way if they know maximas they wont ask about all the differences lol

Here is a 97-99 Red/Clear Taillight/Trunklid set-up compared to a 95-96 style set-up:

For all the NOOBS that don't know or can't tell the difference between the 2 haha!

Did you keep you 95 bumper? I know theres tons of info about swaps but since search doesn't work right now its hard to find.
I'm selling a trunk to a member and he's worried the 97 trunk won't work with the 95 bumper.

I did have some initial problems lining the trunk up to latch, I ended up swapping my old latch to the new trunk...I dont think this was necessary but yeah.
My whole set up is a 1996 maxima with 97-99 front grille and bumper, cefiros. And 97-99 trunk with 95-96 rear bumper.
