RIP Audi; American Muscle

As some of you know, my father and I had a Audi B5 S4 " http://forums.maxima.org/other-cars/...ed-rocket.html ". Tragedy struck a few months ago when a drunk driver veered into our lane head on and forced us off the road (He went to jail for DD apparently he had other arrest for committing the same crime). I hit a tree at 35MPH. My father and I got out with some bruises and scratches, only needed a few stitches above my eyebrow but I'm more thankful to be alive as you see how the car looked a week after the accident..Unfortunately the car caught fire moments after and I watched what I built with my father burn...

But with every death comes a new life. So within the last few months we used the money that we got for insurance towards a new track car. Secretly, no one has known except for some close friends and neighbors. This will be a progress thread I wish I could edit that into the title..Here's a teaser...

My lord, that is an incredible story. It is unfortunate that you had to see your prized possession burn before your eyes, but it's better that you escaped with minor injuries. Looks like you've got something big on your hands though

Glad that both you & your father made it out alive w/ minor injuries. Granted alot of work was put into it but life has no replacement.

Nice to see you back in it already. Keep us posted & certainly looks sick so far.

Nooo, I cant believe that badass S4 is gone. Whenever people would ask what an S4 was I would show them a picture of your car.

Sad day, but good luck on the new project!

Thanks everyone..This new project is definitely something new. Muscle cars are a new thing to me but my father knows his way around them. We spent the first month in serious restoration and engine build here's a few photos of the engine build and the car. Yes It needs work...

More to come...

Man, sorry to hear about the accident. Im glad you and your dad are ok. Looks like a fun project you have going on. Can't wait til my kids are old enough to build a car with me... Give me another 12-15 years. They will be grease monkeys. Good luck with the build. Keep us updated
