i will agree it went downhill. i bought it with aspirations to get it to "simpleNclean" 's level of perfection. the fact that different styles are very limited to this model (without major modification) is what kinda lost it for me. i shouldve done my research first i suppose! haha but yea, a fresh start (and no stickers til its stanced) will be nice for the summer haha got a full tuition scholarship so i will be saving most of my college funds but also splurging a little on a much nicer car. the maxima in my opinion was THE PERFECT first car. it will be missed

once again thanks guys, even though there was a lot of hating.

A set of coilovers and a good set of wheels will put this car where it needs to be.

Nice man! Maxima is a great first car, but there are no doubt better cars out there. Everyone has a different taste in terms of modifying, seems like everyone found yours repulsive though lol. No need to get bugged about it though, it's whatever makes YOU happy.

yea i had the stickers on bcuz i had wheels and everything lined up to have this thing pushing pebbles and hopes of getting into WFC. but bcuz i never could make up my mind, the stickers became "ricey" becuz of no strance hah which i understand, thats why i took them off and simplified to a subtle taste.. in a way im glad it all didnt happen bcuz now i have more money to put into a different car... which btw guys, i know everyone bashes rotaries, but i found an '08 rx8 with 24k on it for a very good price here in town that was driven by an old lady that wants to sell to me hahaha its a six speed and it is on her husbands lot. if it all works out, ill keep ya guys updated if i make progress with it! thanks again guys.

i may post pics later.

Hey where'd you get that pedobear sticker? Me wants. And I'm one of those guys that like to work on the motor and suspension on the car before adding any "look at me" stuff on the car.

hahaha yea they seem kinda intimidating at first but once you get down to it, they really arent too terribly complicated.

thanks man! yea i deliver pizza for a summer job so i cant really do it right yet becuase some of these driveways freaking require 4x4 to even get up them lol its getting slammed though once i start college in the fall. winter is very fair here so i shouldnt have any problems with that. ive already settled on Enkei RPF1 18x10 powdercoated in some color (maybe takata green or flamingo pink lol) these cars are so accepting and so easily stanced! i love this one!

haha yea, theyre kinda intimidating at first but once you get used to them and the maintanance requirements, they are awesome cars! DCS on and it still chirps to third lol so happy i finally got a 6 speed.

thanks man i love it! yea ive already decided on Enkei RPF1 18x10 for it, just gotta wait til fall semester begins becuase i deliver pizza right now for summer job so i dont wanna do anything stance-wise yet because some of these driveways i have to go up are freakin ridiculous lol this is what im aiming for...

this one (like mine) doesnt have the factory lip kit which i actually think looks much better slammed. much cleaner look

LOL! you got an rx-8...and you deliver pizzas? I guess gas mileage doesn't matter...should have kept the maxima and at least dumped it on coils and wheels before deciding that you couldn't do anything with it stance wise. now you're gonna be stuck with an unreliable rx-8 that drinks fuel and a car note lol. good luck though man.

hah its honestly not too bad. only $40 on premium to fill up and i still get 270-300miles on the tank. i really wanted to slam the maxima and all but nothing i liked carried itself well with that car. i loved it though! i loved the power and reliability but the rx8 (if know-how is present, taking care of it isnt too hard) should be a great car because its not a ****ty first series 2004-2006 model AND its a six speed. automatics are always the crap ones becuase girls or old ppl drive them too easily and let carbon buildup in them. but like i said, it doesmt guzzle the gs like most ppl think if driven responsibly. i love it and thats all that matters.

i know!!! hahahah i agree 100%!! im not a racing kinda guy, just more into sitting pretty while getting the job done. ill miss the maxima power buuuuut if i really want that power back, my rotary can handle boost better than any piston engine. haha its unbelieveable what these things can take (once again IIIIFFFFF maintained correctly). but stock it is alright, already threw on some drift practice crap tires and have had more fun than ive ever have before. theyre perfectly balanced so really, 230hp seems crappy but the maxima will slam into a guard rail as i zip through corners effortlessly. hah still gonna miss the maxima though!

haha thanks... well considering i was having to drive 200miles (+) to just look at s2000 to find theyve been molested or crapped up, then looking for 350z that arent molested or have 150k on them, i ran across this, in town, selling from an older couple that didnt like the 6 speed anymore. it only has 24k miles and was priced under my budget. spotless, beautiful, low mileage, sexy, decent power, and funtionality. fell in love with it. a few of my friends were skeptical at first but in person this thing is ungodly sexy and fun as crap to drive.

yea i know! they werent even in my car purchasing vernacular at the time. but i love it way better than the 350z's i drove honestly. never thought these would be this addicting (even though ones id driven before were auto haha AKA garbage). six speed makes a huge difference, then the fact that mine has an EXTREMELY rare color and interior combo, on the rx8 forums everyone thinks its a shinka. (shinka:mazda::mugen:honda) it attracts waaaaaay more attention than i thought it would. but thanks man, i sure will enjoy it!
