New here with an '87 wagon

I came to the forum trying to learn some more about my 2nd gen wagon. I love the car, although it recently left me stranded in the desert with a no spark condition...I replaced the power transistor, and now it appears that I need a new crank angle sensor as well. These parts are rather difficult to find. The first power transistor I special ordered from Autozone was totally wrong...I ended up with a unit listed for Pathfinder from Oreilly. Now I'm hoping I can get the cheaper crank sensor from Napa, because the one from Autozone is $140. Anyway, glad to be here, looks like lots of good info, and I'll try to be a good contributor as I learn this car.
