New Guy Racing a 4th Gen
Just wanted to say Hi to the forum.
I recently purchased a 97 SE Manual for the purposes of racing it in the '24 Hours of Lemons' race in Millville New Jersey. We're in the middle of fixing it up.
So far we replaced, hubs, bearings, control arms, rear lateral link, calipers, rotors, pads, lower oil pan and flexible lines. Some OEM some racing parts.
The current challenges are:
identifying oil leak in the engine compartment (the entire bottom half of the engine is covered)
finding the power steering fluid leak
fixing rusted radiator support
I'm sure I'll be posting quite a bit.
BTW, anyone need a tan leather interior? Includes all panels, seats, seat motor, seat heater etc. Not asking for much considering.
Dave
