New 7th Gen Owner

My wife's Camry, aka Boriiiing, needed to go. Thankfully, she fully deferred picking out her new car. As a former 4th Gen SE owner and a recent Nissan Xterra owner, I was certain I wanted a Maxima or an Altima. And a CPO 2014 Maxima S with 32K miles it was. My wife is so used to buying base model cars, it took some convincing to for her to indulge herself.

The transaction was somewhat marred because the car was advertised as a >... very important for a stepson with chemical hypersensitivity. It took several days before a faint smoke odor became apparent. I requested that the dealer replace the headliner and driver's side A pillar upholstery, cabin filters and perform a professional cleaning including a ozone treatment. Props to them, because they didn't flinch. The scheduled the work and provided my wife with a loaner.

Otherwise, very happy with the car. I'm not sure if it is as fun to drive as the 4th gen, but I love the power and sound. It would easily keep up with my old Magnum RT.
