I have a 2001 nissan maxima gle. The scaner code is egr valve but i’ve see alot of videos that say the location of it is under the throt body but my car does not have the egr valve there . I bought the car like that it had another computer so my mechanic could not find the egr valve either so he told me that he read that maybe the person who sold it to me put a computer from a car that did have an egr valve so he told me to change it from a car that was like mine so i did and i checked again with the scaner and its saying that its the same problem

 

Nissan deleted the egr in 2001 since yours does not have one
