08 SL - messed up
08 SL - I messed up, please help
I have an 08 SL that I bought 3 years ago. It has been ok, although maintenance is annoying since it's a NY car since the beginning. Even though the frame is not rusty (only the front pass floor is), everything is so difficult to take apart.
I brought my car to the mechanic (good guy) to change the belts. Taking out the tensioner screw, it snapped. Ended up paying just under $200 even though I brought the belts. I ended up needing a new belt tensioner bolt for the per steering and a new belt tensioner as well since they were rusted in and out.
he told me that he doesn't work on cars older than 13 years old because whenever you for one thing, something else falls apart... The joys of living in the north 🐥

I messed up bad when changing my spark plugs.
I write about it here: https://maxima.org/forums/6th-genera...ml#post9236881
I'm hoping that I didn't kill the car.
