whats up everyone glad to be in this forum with you all. ive owned 3 maximas this one making my third, crazy story on how i acquired it ill make it short. im a line tech at
serra toyota in the good ol state of alabama and ive passed this house i couldnt tell you how many times an this maxima always caught my eye well about a month ago decided to stop and ask about it. An older lady came to the door and i asked if she owned the car which of course i asked if it was for sale an she preceded to tell me that her husband had sold it two years ago to an older gentlemen who never came to pick it up. So long story short after a little bit of talking to her come to find out my grandfather had bought this car and never told me or anybody else about it which god rest his soul he died 2 days after he bought the car and the ladies husband passed away a week after that so lady was real sweet after we talked and i showed her i was the grandson and that he was really kin to me an what not she handed me the keys an title an i brought the car home. sad story but he knew the car deseved a good home he owned a automotive shop here in town where i live and loved nissans and his chevys an i must have taken after him cause i sure love some nissans myself but anyway just wanted to share that with everyone and hope to gain even more knowledge on these cars oh and it is a 2003 maxima gle with 102,349 miles one owner car my plans are to get it back to running like it should doesnt have hardly any power when you take off in it and sounds like a bottom end knock which ive heard this noise in my last maxima so im almost 100 percent positive its the pre cat will have it on the lift tomorow an update soon as know whats going on and get pics of the car uploaded
