How to identify other .org members....an idea

Ok, here's a "plan".

Go to:
http://www.vigraphix.com/autodecals.html

Order 1 Japenese Nissan decal....
pick whatever color you want....

Cut the thing in half, put the first symbol on the drivers side rear quarter window...
Put the second symbol on the passenger side rear quarter window...

Use the leftover "nissan" decal for your lunch box.

They only cost $6.50 shipped, they're made of vinyl, and they're not obnoxious. Plus, it spells out Nissan (I guess...) so it fits the car.

Too ricey? I ordered mine and I'll stick em on and let you all know how it turns out.

This would be an easy way to identify other .org members, without spelling out that you belong to a computer website!

u meant the one with chinese characters?
the first character (the rectangle one) means Japan
the second character means manufactured

I think it looks better if they are put together.

interesting idea, but those symbols don't mean anything, or actually they don't say NISSAN, when you take them apart. They're chiense btw and IMO its sounds weird split up. I know its just for the look, but since i know what it says, it just wouldn't sound right. I guess it would be a unique way to identify org members nonetheless.

I refuse to put a sticker on my car.

When soneone asks you (which they will) what it means, what do you say?

You: "Oh, I'm a member of this forum on the internet and we........."

Them: Nerd.

Just my whiney *** opinion

I'll second that...there's no way in hell I'm putting any stickers on my car, especially Japanese writing ones. That says RICE loud and clear.

Stickers suck. How about going to the regional forum?? Or putting your location in your sig. Like I'm about to do.

Yeah, I hear all that. I think the original intent was to make it possible to pick out other .org members while driving around. I thought if there was some "mild" way to make our cars a little different, without being ricey or obnoxious, it would work.

They only other thing I can see that might work would be to color in the NISSAN letters on the trunk with red paint (or whatever color you want). A lot harder to spot than stickers, but also a lot more subtle.

I thought that some people wanted a "club" sign to distinguish themselves from the basic drivers out there...so I just threw that out there.

From stripes to hand signals, there doesn't seem to be anything anyone can agree on.

What we really need is to get the sticker of Calvin p1ssing on the Nissan logo. That ought to throw everyone off...

stickers

Hey...don't forget the stickers will add 5 HP each.

Please, for the love of all things holy, do not rice out your maxima. Every time I see a riced maxima i shudder. They're pimp cars without stickers all over them. The point of ricing is if you have a POS car that there are 10 million of on the road, to try to make it "stand out". Trust me, every single kid driving one of those civics or eclipses with stickers all over it would trade it for a new maxima without stickers on it in a heartbeat.
