rear wheel spacer question?
My I30t seems to have a little wider "butt" than a Max, so my rear wheels are a little too inset for my taste. I have recently installed Eibach/Tokico and the inset seems more pronounced with the lowering.
I think it would look much better if the rear wheels were flush with the wheel well.
I already have 17" wheels so I am stuck with my 40mm offset. So the question is about wheel spacers and my bolts. I think the simple way to fix this would be with a 1/4 inch wheel spacer, but the problem is my bolts are not long enough to give me enough thread for my lug nuts to properly fit. Tust me I already tried.
Would it be a problem to replace all my rear bolts with longer ones and add a spacer? Does anyone think this is a flawed idea or have tried it themselves? It should not be a big deal for me to do this my self.
also, you think an auto parts store would carry the bolts I am looking for?
Thanks.

Re: rear wheel spacer question?
you could try the H&R 5mm hubcentric spacers with NISMO 50mm lug bolts from places like nopi or tire rack. they make your car understeer more if you don't put the same spacers in front. i'd stay away from the universal spacers available from the local parts store. the hub ring is too big on those.
www.wheelspacer.com or H&R should be able to help. You'll need longer studs and a good hubcentric spacer.
