Need to get a new alarm for my baby...

Which alarm would you recommend for my car? Somebody just tried to break into my car and my alarm didn't go off. So I want to replace the one I have. Thank you for your help in advance.

Any DEI electronics alarm would be sufficient. These are the makers of Viper, Sidewinder, etc. Very reliable alarms. Never had any trouble with my Viper in the past 8 years its been in my Max!

I recommend Clifford. DEI bought them out but the Clifford products are still a bit better than the Viper ones.

I've had the clifford system w/ the DEI hardware stuff... on my old celica. It was cool, the features were awesome. I was really dissapointed w/ the "starter kill" relay. Mine went bad so it never started in the heat. Other than that, they're fun and comforting

Alpine

I have had an Alpine for about 2 years and I love the features with that alarm. I also have many friends with the same alarm and they love it as well. If anything make sure you find a reputable alarm to deter theives in the future.

don't get viper if you can get clifford. you'll have more selection/options with cliffords...and the all esential starter kill sucks in vipers...unless you rig up your own starter kill relay. viper really messed up!
