What Makes The Exhaust Louder?

So far in my system, I have an Aftermarket Tunable Muffler and a Pop Charger Intake. The Exhaust has a nice Deep Tone, but its a low tone. I want that tone louder, but not that Fart Muffler Sound, but that Deep Tone Loud would be nice? What else do I need?

Ppl say get a Y Pipe. Now on warpspeeds website it said there Y Pipes have a lining to not make it loud? I dont understand? What is needed and where is the best quality and price of what Im gonna need, located? Thanx!

BTW, i have a 98 GLE.

i took off my resonator, put on a flowmaster 2 chamber, and put in a hybrid intake... it has sound, but not a lot. I would say my car has that subtle sound where you can hear it, but it's not "hey look at me, i got a loud car" thing.
Wait next month when i get my y-pipe, maxima from hell time...

oh yea, to answer your question in the title, basically more air flow = more sound.

These Fockers are messing with you, can you tell?

Seriously, if you have ever compared a stock Y pipe to an aftermarket Y you will see a big difference.

Also, the stock B pipe is pretty bulky also.

I am using a Warpspeed Y and a Stillen Catback and it is almost too loud.

Sudz wrote up a great exhaust thread awhile back. Check it out if you cna as it does have a lot of info.

They are 2002 GXE rims, dealer take offs. 16" wheels with Dunlop Tires.

I like them a lot. I was thinkibng about selling them nd getting other rims but, I have yet to see them on another Maxima.
