passager side window wouldn't go up

I have a 2K maxima and all of a sudden the passager side window will not go up. I can use the button on the driver side to turn in up but if you use the passager side button it will not go up. The strange thing about it is that if you press down on the passager side it works. Have anyone else had this problem and if so any pointers!!!

well

you can start with the SECU and remove the window motor.... or you can check out the most common failure, the switch. I'm just saying, it wouldnt be the first time.

Actually the first thing to look at is the window lock out switch. Make sure its not pressed down!

I have a similar problem

The rear, right-side window switch has been fixed twice in my car and is acting up again. The window can be lowered or raised by the driver's button but the passenger's side works intermittenly (other windows work fine). I was wonderng if any other org members have had problems with the window switches? I

That sounds like the power window lock on the passenger door.

In my case it is not the power window lock. The dealer has fixed the same side twice now and it is acting up again.
