The 91' Max has this switch. I was just wondering what it does.

 

switching to power mode will make the tranmission shift at about 500rpms above normal. comfort mode will make it shift about 500 rpms lower. if you leave it in the middle i'm pretty sure the computer will pick which mode it is set it. if you have it on the auto and you floor it, the computer will automatically switch it to power. if you have it in comfort and floor it i don't think it will go all the way to the redline.

all automatics had it, doesn't matter if it's GXE or SE

 

Van_Wa had a 5 spd so he wont have it
