A/C hit the wallet

I took my car in to the shop yesterday to get the A/C controller fixed because it was jammed in between hot and cold. I thought it would be an easy fix, but it turns out that to fix it i have to buy a whole new A/C componnent to fit into the dash. So just because of a jammed switch i am paying 260$ for a brand new air conditioning unit that i dont need. I am sooooo Happy.

Do you have the regular controller, or the automatic controller? I have a 1993 that I am parting out, and will sell you the manual controller for ALOT less if you are interested. It is relatively easy to install, the only pain in the a** is hooking up one of the vent operators.

Yea i wish i could buy it from you beacuse i think i am getting ripped off. My dad was the one who decided to tell the guy go ahead and order the part. I just got my license on monday and all i want is my car back to drive, so now thanks to my dad i am without my max until friday and i will have to hear him complain about spending the money to fix it when i dont even mind being without the AC right now.
