whats this smell?

whats this smell?

Ok evertime i floor my max or get it up to high speeds like 70 or 80 i have this bad smell in my car.
Is it the oxygen sensor?
It really stinks.

Hmm... I'd say perhaps something wrong w/ ure tires... or maybe there is some sort of friction taking place? Or maybe ure vents are moldy? Do you have your climate system set to allow air from outside? or is it just circulating air from the inside. If its gettin air from the outside... the faster u go more in flows in and maybe somethin in vents... just turn up AC and test it out.

Don't know if this is the same thing you're smelling, but whenever I let the folks at Wal-Mart Tire and Lube Express change my oil, they always dribble a little on the engine, and until I clean it, it smells pretty bad whenever I get on the pedal.

Bad cat converter or maybe when you hold your engine at 3k+ rpm(freeway), you are burning oil due to worn out seals. Don't go on the freeway and mash your car for like 3 stop lights, see if you smell it. If you do, you are probably burning a little oil.
