Starting problem found

I am having problems starting when the car is cold or starting up in the morning. I was on break at work and found looked at my Air Regulator and that little clip wasnt on it so it was kinda loose but the connectors inside on both the air regulator and the harness are a corroded green color. So that answers the problem there. I did notice some other connector not connected. Man, the shop who did my rebuild really sucked with service. I still gotta go back and get my lugnut cover they misplaced, my heat shields that werent reinstalled in the side and back, certain washers to make my custom fstb actually work. for now its loose so Im feelin every sway. I betcha thats where that little clip that connects to the air regulator went. They lost it! I think Im going to take my car to the dealer to make sure there was nothing else that I may not know of misplaced.

Good news though Im happy Ive hopefully have found my starting prob. When I get home Im going to take care of the prob.

Oh sorry. The situation was that my car would take a while to start up then slowly sputter its way up to idle. It only happened in the Mornings though. I also spotted my vaccuum hose to the Cruise control wasnt connected so now I have to find out what hoses go where. Im surprise my car is running since Im catching this stuff the shop failed to do or didnt do right.

That really bites about the missing clips/parts...GOD only knows what else. I feel your pain. A few years back my `88 SE came back from an AAMCO (please never take A vehicle to one of those!) with half of every fricken thing that had to be removed to do a transmission job OFF and lost! My starter even fell off a couple months after getting it back from the moron's shop.

It really ****es me off when people don't do their jobs. Sorry ...didn't mean to get off on my high horse about.

ps - Oh and if Steve at the AAMCO in Woodstock, GA is reading......BITE ME!
