Easy way to remove rotors - correction

I gave you some bad info! The 2 40mm M10x1.25 bolts are used to remove the front rotors. You need 2 40mm M8x1.25 bolts to remove the rear rotors. You just screw the bolts into the rotor, alternately tightening the bolts until the rotor is loosened. Sorry!

is it me, or this is a simple job. All the break job consists of is 4 blots and new pads. And maybe new rotors is they are that bad. Yes you should bleed the brakes everytime you do a break job but no one does that.

wow you must have been tired. When doing a BRAKE job I only take 2 BOLTS off to change my pads and 4 if I had to replace the rotor. But to take off the rotor to replace it I would just use a 2lb sledge to the back of it.

Not only should you bleed them, but you actually should FLUSH the system. Brake fluid absorbs moisture and needs to be changed. I make a habbit of flushing my brake fluid every time I do a brake job. It's cheap insurance against a failure due to contamination. This is especially important if you have ABS.
